Fredwalton
Hello just wanted some advice on numbers within a pattern, I currently have 12 shells and 4 full pigeon shells. Will this be enough to start with? Thanks
kyska
Hello just wanted some advice on numbers within a pattern, I currently have 12 shells and 4 full pigeon shells. Will this be enough to start with? Thanks Yup, just put real, dead birds out as you shoot them.
Cosd
As a general rule, yes, that is enough to start with; You can always add more shot birds on the day. As the birds begin to flock up in the next few weeks I would use more if you had them.
Fredwalton
Brilliant thanks, I do also have a couple of bouncers and a surly machine to use as well, I have seen some second hand pigeon decoys for sale so plan on purchasing them. Also has anyone ever used a sock over a decoy to look like a crow as I saw this on the internet recently and wondered if it would actually work? Fredwalton
Would you just dot the 'crow' decoys around or should they go in a specific place?
pigeon controller
To get back on track , twelve decoys to start is fine and add birds as you shoot them up to fifty.
