Grazy
When the season ends I am planning to have the stock de varnished and oiled and the barrels re blued. Can anyone recommend a shop or person in Essex that can do this?
bluesj
Have ago yourself, it’s very satisfying. If you’re not too sure get a cheap gun to practice on. (loads about for less than fifty quid)
Marki
I recently bought a couple of single shot guns for this very same reason. They start at £7.50 and get cheaper if you buy more. Look for our very own Wabbitbosher and his Zombie bashers! The other option is an old air gun with the benefit being that you can sell it on afterwards if you wanted. TaxiDriver
To the OP, Have you asked Jim at Eastern Sporting if he knows anyone ? There's a guy who has a little workshop out at the Fennes Estate Braintree who does stock woodwork
Grazy
Hi taxi driver, I have spoken to Jim at the Fennes but he doesn't do a lot of stock work anymore. The chap at Leech and Sons was helpful. Thanks Welshwarror, I'll send you a PM.
