Vince Green
A good friend of mine has always been a "fat biker" type but over the last few years his medical problems have just gone crazy. Its true that obesity is a ticking time bomb, by the time the problems start its probably too late. You dont see any fat old people do you? Now he is diabetic his legs have swollen up and become ulcerated. He cant walk and thats affecting his general mood so guess what he does to cheer himself up? He is on tablets for everything and his Harley has been replaced by a mobility scooter. Scary when you see it happen in front of your eyes Edited December 21, 2014 by Vince Green
chrisjpainter
could be worse decisions this guy has decided nigels jesus (well according to the daily mail anyway) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2878317/Farage-like-Jesus-claims-Ukip-hopeful-Former-boxer-turned-party-candidate-says-supporters-followers-leader-no-wrong.html does this mean we have to crucify him and wait to see if he can rise from the dead? (either literal or political would do for the test!)
Gunman
Can not wait till some obese person claims discrimination , no doubt there will be appeals for calm to the obese community and then of course they will become a minority with special rights . Sorry folks but joking aside but being over weight is a disability that is in most cases self inflicted . Yes I do know how easy it is to pile on the pounds and how hard it can be to lose them . Obese people need help as eating can be as much an addiction as smoking , drinking and drugs but I sincerely hope that it dose not become a lifestyle choice for many . My son worked in the civil service for a couple of years and it seemed to him that as soon as you got 5 years in and in your 30's it was the norm to start developing symptoms , back problems ,RPS, etc. to work toward early retirement on health grounds . This would be an easy ticket for those so inclined . I guess that most of us just eat to much and some just don't know when to stop . There will be a creeping trend towards it rather than a sudden decision. Thats how the PC mob operate, gradually moving the goalposts until you will risk prison for using the word fat, I am given to understand now by my partner who is a district nurse that healhcare professionals are not supposed to suggest to patients that they should lose weight. Only if the patient raises the subject themselves can they discuss the matter. Clearly this news is yet to reach my GP who raises the question of my weight every time I see him. He is right to do so, I do need to lose some weight and and he has my best interests in mind by telling me so.
