Has any one else heard of this and would the motor run off a battery? at first i thought is this a wind up but he recons not

Any thoughts anyone??

Microwaves, like most domestic appliances, take a 240v feed but almost all of them drop this down to a lower DC voltage using a transformer / rectifier.

I would bet good money on the fact that the motor that turns the glass plate round is 12v DC.

Aye, the "bing" is annoying, but you can warm your coffee up when it gets cold - guaranteed pigeon will come as soon as you stick a brew on :good:

If you forget to take the piggies out the freezer for the magnet you can nuke em first :/

Is there a step by step, DIY guide to making one with the wiper motor anywhere?

I have plans for a magnet if thats any good pm me your E-Mail address

Sorry to but in to the thread Hawkeye, Would it be it ok if I could have a copy of the plans for a magnet?

My shop bought one has just broken again for the second time (poor welding on the wing spreaders) I think I would rather make my own too.
