pestcontrol1
I am trying to rekindle the passion of pike fishing i have been out a couple of times in December and had a few nice fish and one very nice twenty but found it very hard work getting to where i wanted to be. So I am looking at getting a small boat 2/3 man size to go pike fishing on the local rivers around where i live but not sure what would fit the bill.It would have to be quiet light to drag up a shallow river bank and be able to take a small engine to save my arms . Can anyone point me in the right direction plz Cheers PC1 Edited January 9, 2015 by pestcontrol1

islandgun
The pioner boat range is excellent as are the sea nymph alli boats the alli boats are very light and the pioner boats are very durable and used extensively here on the trout lochs
John_R
I have a 12' Portabote. Awesome bit of kit really. Two people and a dog have enjoyed long lure sessions on the Thames in it. I have however not used it in a long time so might be tempted to sell.

Fishing Richie
Also worth a look is an Orkney Spinner. These are fibreglass hulls and 13' long. You will get two anglers in ok. I own an Orkney 440 (similar to a Coastliner). Safe and stable on big rivers and loughs but may be OTT for wahat you want. Rich

I have an engine and a bunch of accessories etc. and in some way there is some sentiment attached too!
