Description

This 32", Multi-Choke, Beretta 682 Gold E has been owned by me for the past five years and has been my absolute pride and joy.

Over the past 18 months it has had the following custom modifications to compliment the standard Beretta specification:

- Customised stock (all work done by Tim Greenwood) featuring grip profiling, enhancement of the palm swell, ebony grip extension, beautifully finished wood and custom hand chequering on both stock and forend (http://www.greenwoodgunsmiths.co.uk/)

- Isis2 Recoil Reduction system (http://www.recoilsystems.com/ISISlight/isis-light.asp)

- Isise Facesaver Impact reducing Comb. I also have the standard comb finished to the same high standard as the stock.

- Isis Green Pad (11mm thick).

The process of getting all of the above incorporated in the set-up can be read via: http://shootclay.co.uk/2013/01/09/gunfitting-a-journey-of-enlightenment/

Comes complete with Hard Case, stock key, spares and a full set of Muller Chokes in Optima thread.

The gun can be tried out at Manchester Clay Shooting Club at a mutually convenient time. Sale either face to face or can RFD to RFD at buyers cost.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

£2250 OVNO. Would consider a part-exchange for a good semi-auto plus cash.

Thank you all for the kind comments; yes this is a well reasoned decision; the Cuban Broom has to move on

I'm open to sensible offers; would even consider a part ex for a good semi-auto plus cash...

got a 682 fancy doing the wood on it outstanding work mate seen s/o not as good as that

I have to say too that is the best finished woodwork I have seen, a credit to you ;-)

I'm afraid I cannot take any credit for the finishing on my 682 Gold E; Tim Greenwood is the man to contact: http://www.greenwoodgunsmiths.co.uk/

FYI, the gun is still available and I'm open to sensible offers :)

Hello

This is certainly a beautiful looking gun, having read all that you have gone through to get the gun into its present state it makes me wonder why you are selling it ? I see that you may possibly accept a semi-auto in part exchange so is it a recoil issue with the gun ? I have recently purchased a Fabarm XLR5 Velocity as I was suffering pains in my neck after shooting my Browning 525 but the 525 was not fitted to me in any way and certainly did not benefit from a recoil reducer. Since switching I have not experienced any more pain so box ticked. The only problem is that I really want to shoot an O/U but I am concerned following recent experience that the pain in my neck will return. As this gun has been so tailored to your requirements would it be suitable for someone else ?

Also can you tell me what LOP is now ?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the post. The sale has nothing to do with recoil at all as this is one soft shooting O/U.

The only reason I'm selling the 682 Gold E is because I shoot my new MK38 much better. The 682 won't get a look in at this rate and it seems a shame to keep refined to the cabinet if someone else would enjoy owning and using it.

LOP is 375mm. You're very welcome to arrange to meet up to have a look at it and shoot of it.

Nick
