Mungler
Just watched the local news. A butcher in the South East has put a call out to locals to supply him with Rabbits - apparently his rabbit pie is in hot demand and he can't get a supply of bunnies. Interesting, especially given that the big supermarkets are now getting in to the game scene. Could this be the year that game makes a come back? It's got to be better than eating anything from Bernard Matthews - a grubby industrial estate in Hungary is not quite the bootful rolling green plains of Norfolk he would have us all believe. EDIT: Yeah yeah, I have Irished the sub title.
Red 9R
There have been ad's in the local paper for a few weeks now asking for rabbits any amount..
pin
I know a place, permission pending, where a crew of longnetters could get us hundreds. There are literally many hundreds out feeding brazenly in the middle of a field almost every night. What you reckon SS/Pelty - we need to hit them and make a few quid
Mungler
I want one of his legendary pies to see the right / best way of cooking game - I would also be interested to know how much and how many rabbits go in it. Indeed, someone with a permission stacked full of bunnies could become a miwwillionnaire Rodders.

SNAKEBITE
Can't be that desperate to only pay 50p a rabbit Plus you have to gut and skin them! Then when you get there he sucks sharply and goes"That ones a bit small I can only give you 20p". I reckon make the pies yourself and sell the pies, must be more money in it

SNAKEBITE
Don't forget that afew butchers will only take minimum numbers. I have never taken anything to a butcher/gamedealer as to be honest I cannot be bothered. I either eat them myself or give them away. Thats if I actually get enough! SNAKEBITE
I don't think that there are going to be hoards of neds going round door knocking and looking for permission so there is nothing to worry about! I do hope there is an upsurge in the demand for more natural foods though, it can only be a health benefit.

Much maligned the *[ned/chav/townie/chav/charva], but in my experience not stupid when it comes to making a few quid to buy a few litres of diamond white. They may find that shooting rabbits rather than people/cats/windows is more productive - the next generation of poachers? * Delete as appropriate
