mick miller
Steve is bob on. Although save yourself the hassle of spraying it black and just buy it black already. I made up around 100 of these last year and they work a treat. Sign companies often have off cuts.
Suffolkngood
I've seen the black correx, but it looks like it'll shine and looks a bit glossy?

steve_b_wales
I've seen the black correx, but it looks like it'll shine and looks a bit glossy? The stuff I have has a matt finish. cpaulc
I use my pigeon decoys with a black sock pulled over them. Use a bit of cotton to pinch some sock together to form a beak (ish) shape and job done.

wymberley
Camoreal is brilliant. I have used it for years, and it seems to blend in with most backgrounds, even dry stone walling. +1 Had mine 10 years plus and was thinking of replacing it - can't find them for love or money. wymberley
anyone had success with a rotary for crows? Anybody? Wanted a couple of Sillosocks Hypa flap crows for bouncers and as I was ordering a magnet as well I forked out £6 for a couple of brackets which permit these to be mounted on the magnet. The lass at UKSW told me that they don't recommend using them on a magnet yet they explain in the bumph for them that they can be so fitted in 10 seconds. For the sake of the £6 plus I'd also ordered a remote speed control which might just slow things down to crow/rook speed, I thought I'd give it a go. Suffolkngood
A friend of mine uses just one on a magnet with some success but says it never works with two?
