Ah well no luck last night. The site i had wanted to use, the cattle were occupying so i left them be and went to another area i usually have luck sitting out but the wind wasnt ideal and no show - maybe i used the wrong call...

How long do you guys use a call for at a time? I left it running maybe 10 mins then stopped it for a few mins before starting it again... was there for an hour.

Also would you pick 1 call and stick to it, or change after a while?

The ICOTEC range are fantastic for the money, especially the GC500, but if you can't afford that one, get the GC350

Takes standard MP3 calls so you can download those anywhere. Difference is, the GC350 has a 12/12 (24 total) call system on an A/B switch, and no display on the remote, and no ext decoy port.

The GC500 has an LCD backlit display, 200 calls, and the ext decoy port, plus an external speaker port too.

Remote range is about 300 yards.

Available from UK Best Fox Call (Rob Crampton) and excellent back up service. If you ask him nicely heaven almost fills the SD card with calls for you

Well didnt get out over weekend, Fri night was stupid thick fog here and i was in the pub Sat night... will try again this coming weekend and see how it goes.

Iv nothing to compare my ICOtec to but im impressed with it - even if it is the cheapest model the do. Ofcourse, if i never get Charlie with it itl be useless!... (but thatl more likely be my fault rather as the callers).
