Underdog
No not shot, seen. No shots fired but was very tempted when a cub came down to 7yards from me! The vixen slipped off hunting before I could shoot. That was this afternoon. Saw the first at 4:30am! Here is the vixen. Now then, what is this disease in rabbits called? I have in the past seen tiny tiny mites in the eye! It causes the eyes to run. U.
fruity
Mites or fleas I would say to cause fur loss
Elk hunter
The rabbit could just be changing to summer coat nothing more sinister than that. I hope! Andrew

Underdog
See it regular now. The rabbits look to have a dark line when you see them from their eye. Their eyes are running! Shot ones never seem their best. I usually discard them or leave them alone because of it. No sir it is not just a moulting. U.

fenboy
Not being a fox shooter ( apart from the occasional one which gets in my way ) why did you not shoot the cub ? I always thought the train of thought was to shoot the cubs before the vixen ?

As it is I know where they are! Edited May 18, 2015 by Underdog
