grrclark
Would the feo contact your employer? Not unless you put someone at work down as a referee or they had otherwise very good reason to do so.
simon2302
My referee is a security officer where I work but he's not been asked about it at work and he is also a licence holder
grrclark
In the normal course of things your firearms team will not contact your work and it has absolutely nothing to do with them (work). You need to stop worrying honestly Edit: Just saw your other post where they had contacted your work, I have no idea why unless they just want to check the accuracy of the content of your application, i.e. that you're not telling fibs. I am guessing this is simply down to your particular feo and the way that he goes about things, I wouldn't worry. simon2302
Grrclark. The only cockup iv made on the application is iv put the place that I actually work and not my employer details.
grrclark
Grrclark. The only cockup iv made on the application is iv put the place that I actually work and not my employer details. I wasn't suggesting that you had fibbed Simon, I hope it didn't come across that way I don't think the honest mistake on filling out your application will make any difference. The only reason that I could think of for them contacting your work place was just to check what was on the application. Not long now for you to wait on the FEO visiting and hopefully everything will be processed quickly after that. The only problem is that is when the expensive bit starts....but enjoyable
