johnlewis
Did you use your employer as a referee
simon2302
No I just put the info where it asked who your employer is but like a plonker iv put the place where I permanently work which is a factory but I'm employed/paid by the cleaning company if that makes sense. But they've contacted the factory. Oops As I didn't put my actual employers details down
Jay_Russell
I dont even remember having to put any employer info on my application. Whats it got to do with them?
simon2302
Iv just read through the form again and it just asks where you work and address etc it doesn't actually ask who your employer is. My query basically is I'm a cleaning supervisor for my employer but actually work in a factory cleening for the client if that makes sense
PaulJC
The form calls for employer name/addy/phone number etc and position employed in... Yeah sorry the actual wording is 'Occupation', 'Work Address, Postcode & Telephone Number'
James1983
Don't think they contacted mine as we normally get asked permission to give the info out for references. Mine never contacted my referee either.
simon2302
My problem is iv put the actual place where I work and NOT the company I'm paid by. Will that affect my application I'm just feeling doubtful about my application now
James1983
Contact the FAO and explain that you put where you working address and not your companies address if your concerned.
Carman06
I am a full time student so they didn't get any details for me, I never thought about what this may involve.

JimLondon
Not sure if this helps, but on my FAC interview the FAO had my application form with him and amended any mistakes/ omissions on the day. As said above give them a ring. ATB Jim
simon2302
I contacted my FEO about the employer question on the form and he said it should be fine and would only contact my employer if they couldn't get intouch with me. So hopefully it will all go ok on Thursday
