anser2
You will not go far wrong with Gamebore Mamonths or RC\Atomic Steel , Remmington are good to and while I have not used them Eley Lightning have a good following. IF you are using them for duck no 3 will give you a better patern and if for geese BB have much better killing power.

theinvicta
Reload your own 3" Steel. I am getting 35g of #B, chronographed at a 6 shot average @ 1514fps. £8 a box of 25 to reload and deadly on geese out to 45-50 yds. Don't think you will get anything close to that in factory loads in the UK. You will always get the Steel haters, but if done right, with the correct components, you can load a very effective 3" shell.

What you want is to try some proper home loaded steel for the geese an that then you would think differently about them Solway RUBBISH

The solway shells were bought for flighting duck into a pond but sorted the geese no probs. I normally use lead for foxes but have shot one or two when loaded with the solways.
