fruity
No doubt many ways , but I make sure all the meat is removed from the skin so nice and clean , rub the skin with salt and let it dry out fur side down , if I can get away with it, dry it in the boiler room Edited June 20, 2015 by fruity

fenboy
Yes scape off as much meat / fat as possible , rub the skin in salt , I normally then pin mine out tight on a board and leave it somewhere that's dry but had good airflow . scotslad
Best way i found was to shoot a rabbit about a similar size to dummy, last time i done it was on a puppy dummy o just a small rabbit, skin it whole without gutting it so skin is in a tube inside out, then roll ur tube of fresh rabbit skin over the dummy and put it in the sun to dry. Will dry onto ur dummy and be already attached, saves u having to tie them on

You make 2 tennis ball dummies out of one skin this way, ball / tie / tie / ball / tie then cut into 2 once dried. I only make dummies in winter when the rabbits are bigger & have thicker skins. kent
Pin them out fur down on boards in a dry airy place, that all you need. Then apply a foaming type glue to the canvass dummy or whatever, wrap the skin right around it and secure tempary with cable ties, once fully cured remove the ties and trim any flaps off so they don't attract messing from the dog.
