this is whats happening :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

but before you see it, i must explain a couple of things.

1, yes i know i put it in reverse and nearly jumped through the back wall.

2, its still not running rite as you can see by the smoke, but we ran out of time.

3 the clattering noise you can hear is the O/S wing vibrating on the front towing eye, need to have a little look at that.

4. its not much but, enjoy :good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good:

  1. looks really good outside...slick and straight.... :good::good::good::good:
  2. smoke could be one of 2 things
  3. rings need to bed in to honed bores...5 to 8 miles of running
  4. it is injecting a little too late

if it is difficult ton start...(has to turn over many times)...it is the pump timing out...(just a little bit)....if the smoke dissapears at high revs...defo pump timing out

it started first time, probably the rings, i was thinking the same myself :whistling::whistling:

then run it for 10 miles............if it was like mine when i honed the bores it smoked like a pig then all of a sudden over 500 yds it went from smoke to nothing ..clean as a whistle...

its got to burn off all the oil , grease and whatever else has left a residue on the internals of the engine and manifolds inside of exhuast ect .

that smoke wouldn,t worry me too much for now mate .

when I rebuilt the engine in my old cavalier sri 130 with roughly the same amount of work as you,ve put into your engine it was worse than that on tick over for a long time until I got on the road and got a few miles on it ....if I remember rightly about 10ish or so then dink nice and clean

you've been framed, Jeremy beadle, then i think harry hill and one of the dingles off emmerdale did it, you might not get emmerdale in your neck of the woods, probably just stuff like, " today i have mostly been eating............. turnips" :lol::lol::lol::lol:
