Lol, no! You are doomed to wander the world looking for exactly the right colour like the flying Scotsman.

Get back to your quest.

thats a quality find that mate, iv been searching for the colour, then a high temp paint but couldnt find any, i did think surly it shouldnt be that hard to find.

the paint from paintman isnt technically paint, its primer which sounds a bit starange to me, but the stuff you have found looks spot on,

thanks.

that looks to be alright.........change your hot spot inserts regrind the seats...new valves..lapped in...new shells up and down...........maybe new rings and a quick wizz the glaze buster and it will be good for another 100,000miles ... :good:

Yeah I agree with ditch....those swirl chambers look to be cracked so best to change, first though what's the mark on the end cylinder hot spot to valve

Looking at your head, for each of the 4 cylinders you've taken the valves out leaving two holes, then to the side of these two holes is a disc set into the head with a small square ish shaped hole that leads through to the injector, these disc shapes, take a picture of each one and post up

These are your hotspots as ditch calls them

damage to the head looks ok...............but your "combustion chamber inserts" need changing....knock them out with a hardwood dowel...from the injector ports and leave the rollpins in...clean and put the inserts in the freezer and the head somewhere warm then tap them in with a flat wooden drift...........check my pages as i showed you how to replace them....
