Fishing Richie
Chris, I agree. I chose mine having read numerous threads on here and looked at several different ones from Winchester (the cheapest) to Beretta (the most expensive). The Maxus was the middle of this range on price and fitted the best so it was a no brainer really. I then watched a You Tube video on how to clean it and reassemble it and it looked a pice of cake even for a non mechanical person like myself I have used mine exclusively for the last 12 months again with several different loads without issue. I shoot better with it than I do with my 525 as I have adjusted (lengthened) the LOP and it seems to fit really well. The black plastic does not do it for everyone but it makes it very durable Rich

GingerCat
Any squirty gun cleaner and a bit of kitchen roll. When that runs out I use wd40. Have done for years with no issues whatsoever. Like to have the internals oiled very very lightly to stop it attracting dirt in use.

Royboy
I work in the garage trade and have been brought up in the garage trade so I've always used engine oil (new obviously) and they've always looked mint and not had problem
shalfordninja33
WD40 for the cleaning stage followed by a thin layer of 5W 40 Castrol fully synthetic engine oil. Its thinner than most gun oils and seems to make my Benelli run really smoothly.
