motty
I don't want to sound critical, but a dead bird on the flapper would have been nice. Looks ok without one, though.
JDog
As a sales exercise it was completely pointless showing the flapper without a pigeon on it.
kenholland
nice to see if it will draw them in on it's own without the rest of the stuff ?
sitsinhedges
How much is it?

Cranfield
It would have looked better "fully dressed", but in appearance it does look a lot lighter. Was does it weigh ? I have always used a standard flapper on a large bamboo garden cane, which works fine, but anything that makes the equipment bag lighter is welcome. A1Decoy
My apologies, i am unsure why a pigeon was not shown on it. We will get another video done and repost. Sitsinhedges, they are £79.99 with a bouncer included. Cranfield, i will weigh one ASAP and get back to you. Thanks Oscar
Redditch
Now to save some pennies for a couple of these too They look brilliant, and will be an excellent addition to my pattern. Do they go "ultra slow" with speed controller ? Reason for asking is most of our shooting here is corvid, pigeon only appear in numbers at harvest time but will take a while as just bought another shotgun (OUCH) a moderated LAPORTE (built on Fabarm action) 12ga double trigger ejector Should stop the complaints from the townie neighbours that have moved in
A1Decoy
Raymond, Yes we have had great success with them. I will test it with a speed controller and get back to you. Cranfield, It weighs 335 grams. Please see video below for the unit in action with a pigeon on it; Thanks Oscar
Redditch
Looking at these Oscar, I think they would probably be ideal for corvid use, as they don't have the extreme movement of the bigger heavier staked flappers. Turn the speed down and it would probably be extremely lifelike. I would like to see a video of that if you can manage it (not that I ask for much LOL)
