wymberley
Up to now, if it's of a size, flies, is black and comes into decoys you shoot it. Simple, relax and get on with it. No more! We now have two ravens in residence which is making life difficult in as much as a quick snap shot now needs a bit more consideration. Scully
Yes, I can see how that would impede ones swing.
old man
The beak might make you swing for your mistake?
wymberley
That's really torn it - they have stayed put and bred.
robbiep
It's an issue here too. Up on the hills there are quite a few ravens. Love to watch them wheeling. Thankfully they don't tend to come down to the lower ground where I do nearly all of my corvid shooting.
rjimmer
The beak might make you swing for your mistake? And Ravens have big beaks.

Within a couple of days of me first seeing these while decoying in one particular 5 acre stubble field, I also saw in the same field a pair of quail hiding in some stinking mayweed. No sign of them since - must have pushed off back to Dorset.
