Yeah was a good laugh goose!

How you getting on with the Go Pro?

Not great to be honest. Was out yesterday and between getting the van bogged, Not copping on that you actually have to keep the camera on at all times' as i thought it was set up to record as soon as it switched on' therefore shooting and the camera was not actually recording when I thought it was. Finally worked it out' but was shooting **** and the pigeons where not decoying and it was mostly all crows. Got some footage but not a lot, Sett a new hide up last night with the intention of going out to try and get some more footage today' but it has been raining all day here' so never ventured out. Had a mixed bag of Carrion's,hooded, rooks and jackdaws and one pigeon. The pigeons seem to be starting to flock up and as i have no Whirly bird' they where flying high and going elsewhere.

Keep the vids coming.

Curious to the "swinging guns about comment"? We dont cross arcs and are aware of where eachother is in the hide. Like i said before the shooting at 2 was minor miss communication at times and some birds on the video that cant be seen

I will be honest, it was one of my first thoughts too. other than that, good video

Haha thanks mate, getting the vibe off some that we werent being safe when thats our priority when 2 of us are in the hide because of the horror stories ive been told possibly camera angle doesnt make it look that way but guns are on safe till ready to fire and neither of us would pull the trigger if in any doubt.

There is only one safe way when shooting two to a hide and that is to take turns , its easy to have a lapse of concentration in the excitement of things and you were both clearly excited !!!.

You will also find you shoot better like that as you are not trying to "beat" your hide partner to the bird.

At the end of the we are there to do a job. We both know we are being safe and money made from the sold pigeons paid for cartridges 2 fold. I couldve use the boring close up shots or these which are more exciting to see, we communicate right up to the point before we shoot I've just trimmed and edited out those.

I'm always open to advice but some giving me stick isnt advice

I agree with fenboy, maybe you both think that`s safe shooting but on the video at 2.15 and 3.57 the guns come really close to each other plus you one of you stands up in front of the other one just after he let a shot go with one still in the barrel around 1.20, maybe you pair know each other well enough to shoot like that but as I said in a earlier post I would not want to be in there :sad1:

You must be getting a good bit back for your pigeons if they paid for the cartridges twofold. It looked at times like you were letting off five shots for one bird.

Sorry guys, I love to watch people's days on the woody's but that all looked a little "American" to me. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be in that hide.

I actually enjoy shooting two to a hide but safety comes before all else. Take people's advice on the chin, learn and be safe!!
