Underdog
I had to bend the barrel on the hush power as it shot too low. It is much better now but could of done with a little more but the silencer only just threads on now. The silencer threaded boss at the rear would need to come off and be adjusted which I don't fancy. The other issue was light strikes and miss fires. An indentation of a primer would measure .35mm but now measure .50mm and today 25shots with no miss fires and of mixed make and reloads. Shamefully I only got 5 woodies, 1 Maggie and 1 Jackie for those 25 shots. I was more intent on proving function reliability after to many frustrating miss fires. Also despite a full choke I don't think it is very capable much beyond 40yds, maybe with another cartridge! Meet Jess the mardy little whippet cross thing. I am looking after it as it is being picked on by other dogs. We will see how we get on, she does not like the gun but is reassured readily by me. Was out first light Friday morning and caught the sun rise. I was checking the poults for fox but saw no fox. Later at night my friend shot three vixens from 175, 250 and nearly 300yds with his 250 and me lamping. Here is the sunrise. The weekend so far gents U. Underdog
The Hushpowers take a little getting used to, stick with it PS, my missus wants the mardy whippet The tiny lurcher is a good little guard dog and looks to have the ability to learn so I will keep her.She has palled with my spaniel and copying her all ready. Typical lurcher, eyes bigger than their belly! I will get some more photos of Jess in time. Soon I will bring a rabbit home to see what she thinks of it! Although a rabbit is nearly as heavy as her!
