Last week I saw further reference to it in the Shooting Times. Naturally, I checked Gamebore and Just Cartridge websites. Nothing there, hence my shout out to PW members. Thanks, Milo. In addition I was told that recoil, due to the more deformable wad, was in line with that of the Pure Gold 25 gramme cartridges and that another production run was being planned. I aim to test these cartridges at the weekend and will report back to PW. "They are a 27gm load in 5 or 6 shot with a wool wad and no over powder card – which means they smell a bit sheepy when you fire them! They look just like the standard Pure Gold but the boxes and individual cartridges are marked "WOOL". Soon find out if it is all hype or if the logic is borne out in the field.
