sitsinhedges
What pigeon magnet RPM do you find is best for pigeons?
pigeon controller
Never needed to slow it down just use it to give movement to the pattern.

motty
That's a difficult one to answer. The general consensus seems to be that faster is better. All I will say is that I have had pigeons committing well to machines that are doing 40 rpm and the same for machines at 70 rpm or more. I'm just designing a tiny rotary that runs at 30rpm just wondering if that'll be OK with dead birds, I usually use hypaflaps whose speed are governed by the wing flutter but wanted it to be versatile
ditchman
just diverting the thread slighty..................i have found a source of good strong narrow diameter steel for magnet arms............ the outside round bar of oven racks....cut the wire rack part off and you are left with high tensile 4mm round bar..........about 4ft long....
