kip270
Have a look for American Eagle ammo (made by federal) a few guys here use them and they are cheaper than other makes, also try to go for 50-55 grain ammo, these are better suited for the .

I used 22-250 + 243 for fox shooting and found it okay. I now load own, very enjoyable and a hell of a lot cheaper.

tommy trucker
just coz there cheap dont mean you have to use them. ur rifle will tell you what ammo it likes. try afew types/brands pick the one that will give you a 1"group or less at 100 yds

Like Tommy says use the ammo that your gun likes best. It's great to find cheap ammo that works well but it's meaningless if your accuracy goes all to hell

Where he got the information from is anyones guess but I've normally found him reliable. dave

Dave, Do we know this for a fact, or is it just the modern equivalent "repeated on many forums therefore making it the truth" ? Its all on the PP site - they made machinery for making cases etc before making their own ammo and made the equipment that Lapua and oither makers use. By the way 223 SP is now £33 per 100 http://www.henrykrank.com/privi%20partizan.htm If you buy a 1000 you may get a couple of quid knocked off.
