martindd
Bought a brand new browning b525 and with the paperwork it says register online for a extra years warranty,so I've done this and it says thankyou you have completed the registration. But during the process it asked for a number from above the barcode on the cardboard delivery box, trouble is there's several barcodes and numbers and I'm not sure I've entered the correct one! Has anyone registered a browning? And did you get any kind of conformation? Thanks Martin
Duckandswing
I have the very same gun and followed the same process. Didn't get a confirmation. I just decided that my proof of purchase was enough. If they didn't honour the guarantee based on that id be surprised.

martindd
Cheers, very vague, hopefully never need it. Which guns did you get by the way?
B25Modelman
Did mine yesterday and did not have a bar code but it still registered. I also emailed the dealer to ask precisely how long the warranty is. If you look at the warranty booklet I bet it says 3 years and 10 years for the action....most confusing. billytheghillie
How do you boys find the 525? I have been eyeing them up, and will have to wait till December before I can try one.

B25Modelman
I have just spoken to Browning Leige Customer Service and the chap did not know the length of the Warranty other than to say they are normally 3 years. He knew nothing of the 5 years or anything about +1 year when registering online but is going to phone me back once he has found out. Update: Customer Service have made contact and say, 5 years for the Maxus, 7 years for the A5. The +1 year for registering online does not apply. Well there you go.
