Our friends at Uttings have these, I'm new to them but like the side focus and general spec..... and the HMD reticle.

Has anyone got one, used one reviewed one etc., your opinions appreciated.

Cheers

Looks similar to a Falcon, and is priced similar to a Falcon (the old version, 4-14 Falcon Menace).

For similar money, this is a better bet:

It's the newer version and carries a number of improvements over the older version PLUS is a first focal plane design, very rare at this price. It is also very good optically at 18x mag, unlike every other scope I've tried in the budget to mid range price point.

You can buy direct from Falcon too. I have the above scope on my 308, and its astonishing value and optically very good indeed.

I'd have to say I'd need to spend an awful lot more money to get what I personally wanted out of a scope. I only tried the Falcon out of curiosity knowing that I could send it back if disappointed. I have a few here including Leupolds which are ok (but nothing special in the models I have) but tbh, at the mid range I'd probably look at Sightron Siii or else save the pennies for Schmidt & Bender.
