Watched Sicario last night as well which was another excellent film

Some bits were fantastic, like the tension when they were trying to get back into the States from Mexico, but the story as a whole

didn't hold together. Eg, why did she need to be there?

Decent movie, but not that much action. Really a vehicle for Samuel L Jackson. As someone else pointed out - best Tarantino film was Jackie Brown. I liked Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained - mainly because of the performances of Jackson and Christopher Waltz.

Got to be honest, I thought it was a very poor film. I actually fell asleep about an hour and half in to it and then woke when the music got louder. Maybe I missed the best bit when I was catching a few winks.

Found it awfully slow to get going and not a fantastic storyline. I didn't think there was any major twists in the film that couldn't be seen coming.

On the other hand I watched it with my old man and he said he enjoyed it and looks forward to watching it again. He thinks it will be even better second time round.
