Jaymo
Because of you UD m on a site looking at BP rifles. All BP pistols/rifles are on 'free sale' , guess they believe the days of robbing banks Wild West style are well and truly over. Still have some cleaning solutions from my last .36 nickel pistol that I had-- must say I didn't enjoy cleaning the thing, looked like a Victorian chimney sweep after a mornings play

Dougy
Ah ! Never thought about that. Seriously though, just for a moment. Years ago I decided to put some of my cleaned case's in the oven to dry, (washed in some super accuracy snake juice is invented) not too hot mind 60* it should have been :-( And of course my plastic tray decided to try and morph into something like a 2 year old childs plasticine aeroplane. So you see your bit of wood with holes drilled in has been a serious thought of mine ever since my tray baking problem. Incidentally, the oven thermostat was US ! steve_b_wales
Looking at the wooden block reminds me of when I was reloading 357 magnum / 38 Special pistol ammunition. I was given a very heavy wooden chopping board, and drilled holes in it to safely hold the brass cases. That was back in the 1980's, and I still have the block today.
