Thanks GG :)

I'm considering selling some current stuff to put towards a 5dmk3.

However I would love a Canon Prime.

Cheers,

Dave.

Dave the above cam body is full frame which is good for close up wildlife/ Landscapes/weddings and high ISO.

However you will miss some distant shots also the frame rate is a little slow for fast moving subjects.

Have you had a look at the 7D ii. Keep your eyes and ears open for a possible second hand at the right price maybe.

Regards

Hi GG,

I am aware of the 5D being full frame, I like all of its positives with regards to image quality and high Iso etc. I've handled one last week in the shop and it was a great camera.

But I'm not 100% now because today I used my girlfriends 7dmkii and oh boy!!! The auto focus the frame rate - its unbelievable! It was just grabbing on to focus with distant birds and not letting go - out of about 16 frames of following one bird, not one was out of focus! However the noise is the let down it was heavily clouded over :/ I've just finished editing some from today that I took with it I may well post them.

Just in a complete dilemma as to what to go for if I'm honest....

Regards,

Dave
