dazb1967 Posted March 5, 2016 Report Share Posted March 5, 2016 I hope you have more luck than me, I've had similar amount of birds on the rape fields, set up wait for them to come in and 1 shot and never to return again, I'm sticking with the roost shooting for the time being, seems like its the only way I can get a few birds these days. Milo Posted March 9, 2016 Report Share Posted March 9, 2016 If you're finding the whole rape deal frustrating try bangering off the fields they are feeding on in the area and shoot the main flight-line from/back to the day wood. It does depend on you knowing your area well but I have found it generally works a LOT better than sitting on a field they never come back to after the first fusillade.
