Royboy
Hello there, me and my mates are having a day here on Friday and was wondering if I'm ok using plastic wad ? Cheers
Del T
Yes plas wad is ok. Take some wellies because the paths were a mess last time we went 2 weeks ago and lots of the traps weren't working!
Royboy
Cheers mate I'll take my wellies 👍 Is it a good set up apart from some traps not working ??

BlaserF3
You can shoot plaswads anywhere on the ground. Unless they have sorted the foot path on the sporting layout through the wood in the last week wellies are a good idea, it's quite muddy. The food is very good too. BlaserF3
They have DTL, Skeet, ABT, Double Trap, UT which have a decent path or concrete to stand on. There are "Training" sporting stands behind the club house suitable for novices and the other stands are further down in the wood, the tower throws some decent clays. malmick
Was there on Saturday, plastic is fine and and the sporting layout track is now rolled hard core and gravel. Some nice setups there, have a great time. Mick

Del T
Excellent I'm looking forward to it 👍 Cafes not open on a Friday though 👎 The cafe is open as the only time we get to shoot it is on a Friday. They do some good grub at very reasonable prices. I think it opens at 12 and serves food for a hour or so. After that you use the brew machine for you teas and coffees. BlaserF3
Wellies not needed now but it's still a bit muddy underfoot, but they are going to do all the path as they have only done about half of it at the moment.

Squinting shot
Hi all looking at going myself what's the prices like I use my own cartridges so just prices for shooting round. How do you get ago on the high towers Thanks All
Royboy
Today was brilliant, it was the best clay ground I've been to by far (I don't do a lot of claying) some real treating birds and in a great location. High towers where high ! We did 25 dtl 100 sporting Then 20ish in the grouse butt It's cost £43 so i don't think it's bad for a day of a job, had a brew half way through so I nice relaxed day. Not sure what it would be like on a Sat/Sun ??
