hellier0437
just wondering what .22lr mod to get for my cz varmint 16". length not really an issue as i've got the 16" barrel but would like it quiet and affordable. thinking about Parker hale or sako as two examples. Dave-G
If it's never going to be used on any other calibre the soundbiter is small, light and adequate for subs and it only costs £20 ish. It's totally **** for anything else so if you plan doubling it up on say a 17HMR then you'll need to look at something more expensive. shaun4860
SAK for me....
fieldwanderer
aggreed the sak's a good moderator, nice and easy to strip and clean and pretty quiet. Having said that I think the parker-hale m11's a good bit quieter, about the same price and nearly as easy to clean I've never seen one for sale though, but I'd have one if I could I've got a great little moderator on my cz .22 but no-one seems to know what it is! I'll get some pics on here soon tho to see if anyone here knows.

invector
SAK every time for me. On .22 and .17HMR. 12 bore phosphor bronze brushes just fit the difficult to get at areas, but please be careful with that lead dust!!!
hellier0437
thanks, what's the price difference between sak and parker hale?
fieldwanderer
thanks, what's the price difference between sak and parker hale? sak at my local gunshop's £30 and I've seen the p/h online for £32 - though "due to illness" the mail order system wasn't being used for a while. If you find somewhere selling them though mate, can you let me know please? I've been after one for a long time!
