MAB1954
I have a 12 gauge Zabala side by side single selective trigger, ejector with screw in chokes. I would like some help to identify type of choke. They look like Beretta Mobil chokes as per the attached photo. I have had a look at previous posts on here with no luck, have also phoned York guns, who use to import these guns, again no luck. Anyone know what they are? Gordon R
Shotgun World in USA suggests they are Beretta Mobil. Do you know anyone with Mobil chokes and a micrometer?
MAB1954
Thanks Gordon. I saw the shotgunworld post and that is the only reference I have found. I do not have access to Beretta Mobil choke tubes to compare nor have I found any drawings or any reference to thread sizes etc. I'm an engineer so if I had a Mobil tube I could measure it up...may have to buy one to do just that, can always sell it on here if its wrong. bornfree
I have a zabala sxs single trigger multi choke and it does not use Beretta Mobil chokes. The thread is lower down more like a browning invector.
MAB1954
Thanks for reply bornfree. My Zabala sxs must be different from yours mind does not have Invector chokes. My Mossberg 500 has Invector chokes and the Zabala chokes are nothing like those. My Zabala chokes are just like the picture of the Mobil choke above in my opening post. Westley
Contact 'Hardwoods Green' off here, he always has a selection of used chokes for sale. Get the 'Mobil' choke, try it in your gun, take measurements etc. to make sure. Problem over !
