Winchester sx3

I've owned everything from 300 series Berettas, Xtremas, Vinci, and Supervinci ....

For about the last 4 years now I've had 2x SX3's ... and will keep with those ...

Bombproof reliability and handle the bigger shot sizes of steel without issues.

As Tony R has said .... for handling, nothing could even come close to the 3" version of the Vinci. .... if anything was to tempt me away it would be another one of those .... a great duck gun.

They don't make the silver finish anymore a was after a silver finish type the shop phoned the browning rep and said only black finish coming out of factory now if any shop do have them will be older stock. I've been cort out in the rain with mine loads of times already no rust problems so far

After yesterdays session on the pigeons I took my brand new SX3 apart to give it the once over/clean and found it to be of a quality comparable with my other guns, it's ok to have "heard" that something is of a lesser quality/status but the proof is in the pudding as they say.

As an ex aerospace quality manager I can assure you that the internal finish is of a standard you will not be unhappy with and the woodwork on mine is of a very high standard for the price, after all it's going out into the field not hanging on the wall to be admired by one and all.

The only complaint I have is that I never bought it sooner.

As for rust if you don't look after anything made of steel it will eventually rust, as the manuals state for all guns, after use clean, check, and wipe over prior to putting away then it will be ready for use next time you need it.

Not wanting to start an argument but I was reliably informed that some guys had issues with the black shadow model when they had been used on the marshes whereas the composite and cammo models seemed to be more rust resistant.
