davids3511
I posted off my paperwork earlier this week by recorded mail. Unfortunately at some point of the day yesterday, the receipt blew out of my van so my proof is gone. Should I drop them an email to check they've got it? I know they are up to their eyes and dont want to add to it but suspect I should protect myself too.
philm
I email the forms to them, no post. I did ask if it was OK first. Never had a problem, you get email confirmation of changes.

flynny
E mail and send recorded, They are only open during certain hrs of the day, and the admin lady who answers the phone is very , very rude, I've never had a problem with GMP but after I e mailed my new shotgun details to them , I phoned up up a few days later just to make sure that it had been received , the tone and nature of the admin/secretary who answered the phone was utterly shocking, she needs some manners and customer relations training, I was honestly flabbergasted, it changed my view of GMP after years of dealing with them, I let her go on with herself and put the phone down with a sarcastic " thanks very much for your help" as she was still blabbing on trying to justify her shocking tone Tab Flynny Edited May 10, 2016 by flynny

flynny
web site quotes a minimum of 14 weeks for sgc renewal and only then if you have used their extra "voluntary" forms - may be glad I have moved Not a re newal mate, just notification of a new purchase, it was just a courtesy call as a law abiding citizen , to make sure that all was received ok etc etc, I nearly asked for someone higher than her, but bit my tongue, I was also going to e mail the head of dept , but thought better of it, Honestly if it would have been anyone else they would have got a mouthful about there tone/condescending attitude I usually deal with my FLO who is absolutely brilliant a very helpful/ cracking lady, I will be asking to speak to her in the future Tab Flynny
Scully
I just send mine off either recorded or registered ( can never remember which one is which...and I just did it yesterday! ) whichever is cheapest and is the one that requires a signature from them on receipt, which means they have to come down stairs for it and then I forget about it; I've done my bit.
