You will not get out today Ditchy.

Those birds look more like male Hen harriers than pigeons. I hope they don't scare more than they attract.

yeay.......still a steady drizzle......the 'coys were £8.99..........i will give them a try and see what happens.......no-body uses a rotary around here, so they might be curious..its just the movement and colour im looking for..

think i might give up for today...temperature has dropped so i will light the fire ...and we will have fish an chips to-nite....what the hell

That looks like the Benelli 121 SL80?

that is a very very old A303 with a 26" tube.........my so called mates take the wee out of me when i turn up with it...they call it the museum piece....still in perfect working order just looks very "used"....the wood on the forestock has shrunk so i made a leather seating washer for it ...and i drilled a hole thro the trigger assembly to fit a rubber kick back pad...not because i have a kick problem...more to do with slipping my hand into position nice and comfortable everytime..

I have one of the same, 26" barrel, which also has a loose fore-end. Fantastic gun which has only ever failed with Hull CompX, they just didn't seem to have enough ooomph to cycle it! Over 30 years old and still working as well as ever.

to tighten up the forend ..you can make yourself a "o" ring ...using and o ring kit..................i have some of those Hull compx...use then for my single 12.......the beretta will not cycle them cleanly...keep getting caught in the ejection port...............will cycle everything else tho.........
