Jay_Russell
My wife and I will be heading down there sun/Monday for a tour of the house sunday (for the misses) and then the fayre on the monday (for me ☺) . I see Browning will be there so I can have a few shots at some clays. Anybody else going?
Dunkield
Didn't even know it was on, I used to go years ago and to be fair (boom boom) it was nice little show. That was a long time ago mind. Be interested to hear what you think.

flycoy
Hi all unfortunately i am unable to Attend as normal so looks like BB will have to do a bit more work than normal! take the time to go and say hello to the lads and lasses on the Basc coaching Line cheaper lessons for members and a free lesson if you join on the day, you might be lucky enough to get a lesson from Bakerboy. All the best and have a good bank holiday Flycoy
Geo
I had an excellent lesson with David Court last weekend as he attempts to transform me from a mediocre clay shot to someone that can safely and competently shoot game by October. I believe he is also on the BASC coaching line at Highclere this weekend, it would be worth going to pick up some tips from him . If only I could persuade the wife that it will really be like an episode of Downton Abbey I might be able to make it!
Robyray
I am there now and watching the spitfire, :) great small country show that is trying hard to get back on track and after last year there seems to be more and more people getting to the show, weather is fine (was a bit cold to start with and then a smash on the A34 stop me getting in sooner, a few bargins to be had but only after a new fox caller thing Robyray. Bluebarrels
Went yesterday not a bad day out, weather was good. Main arena had some good displays,Chris Green was very good and entertaining, spitfire display was good but due to new display regulations was a bit far away. Plenty of trade stands but I didn't see any dedicated shooting/decoying/home loading stands like in previous years which is a bit sad. Getting out of the parking areas was an absolute nightmare, traffic stood still with no movement for ages,so they need to work on that otherwise a good day,BB
Jay_Russell
Really enjoyed the show today. Could of spent a bit more money if the wife wasn't with me☺. But there was enough there to keep my wife happy too. Chris green was very good. Went to see bakerboy but the BASC shooting was closed and apparently you were doing some acreditation. I didn't realise there was a layout for shooting otlr I would if bought my gun with me! I'd defiantly go again if we were down that way again. bakerboy
Very good and very busy show. The BASC stand delivered over 250 lessons over the two days, and sadly had to disappoint some people because of the sheer numbers wanting a lesson that could not wait. Highclere is a good fair, busy and with interesting stands and displays, like all fairs exiting is always a problem, visitors drift in over a few hours but all leave at the same time, Sorry I missed you Jay.
