tonker
As above really, my mate went out for a buck nearing last light. The farmer had said that a fox had been coming up over the ground at dumpsie dark. so I chose to stay and see if I could get it. I had the binos out and scanning every couple of minutes. I turned to look at a couple of Mallard on an old lagoon, and as I panned I had a flash of brown in the glasses. I lifted my head up to see a pair trotting across in front of me about 30 yds out. I didn't even have the Photon on or one up the spout, talk about bad preparation, as quick and as quietly as I could I got set, and managed to stop the dog, with a really testing 40 yd shot . The Vixen was having none of it, which wasn't a bad thing in my mind at this time of year, After my mate came back we went to another farm nearby, as we drove down the track we saw a set of eyes in the headlights. It took us a while but eventually had a shot at about 130 with the photon and t20. sorry about the last pic didn't realise it was so dark
