Lyvale power gold.

Anyone tried the power gold from Lyvale ?

I have just used up 125 from a shared slab and was quite impressed with them , just been to fetch myself another 500.

Our local dealer gave me 50 to try - not good at all. Both my son and myself found them to have a more harsh kick than Power Reds yet they are slower and more expensive.

Strange I cannot say I found them over punchy at all .

More kick than power reds will make them one of the most kicky cartridges there is.

 

Thought the idea was to make a smooth shooting cartridge with the power golds.

I used a few last week. Didn't find them particularly harsh on the shoulder. Broke clays ok.

I picked up 250 Power Gold fibres and found them very kicky with little perceived benefit over Power Blues. Passed a few around with the same comments back. Recently found out however that the first batch of fibres were not adequately tested and that subsequent batches have been reformulated to avoid unnecessary visits to the dentist. So - if the kicky feedback is fibres might be worth another slab though I am reluctant to risk another £50.
