Hendrix's rifle
From what I've been told its a sign of mixy, if I get any like that they get binned because its not worth the risk. I may be wrong but that's what I'm told
Cranfield
I have heard variously that its a parasite, a fatty liver disease or liver fluke and a few others. It is probably a symptom of many conditions. I have always eaten the meat, but not the liver.
kyska
As above can be many things, likely a parasite or cocci cysts
fortune
This has been covered several times before. you could do a search. I think that it is some sort of liver fluke. I've noticed it more in rabbits that occupy wet or damp areas.
Graham M
May be safer to err on the side of caution. http://www.outdoorhub.com/how-to/2013/02/25/rabbit-hunters-take-note-steps-to-avoid-tularemia/ G
Alpha Mule
Any time I've seen it (milky blobs/streaks), it has been alongside other Mixy type pointers (rabbit sat out in full view, not fully aware, puffy/crusty eyes). Mixy isn't supposed to cross the species barrier, but I don't eat them. If you are seeing blister like spots (anywhere in the cavity), they could be worm cysts. I've been advised (on here) if you freeze them for 24 hours it kills the eggs, but again, I don't touch them.
