spandit
Took my single bunny into the butcher today, who is desperate for more (http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/338099-caught-in-the-act/) and another customer overheard us talking. Long story short, that's about 12 more acres of rabbit infested land to shoot!
Dekers
rabbit infested land Keep your fingers crossed, the times I've heard that, the next line when you arrive is....... well I don't know where they have all gone!
malkiserow
rabbit infested land Keep your fingers crossed, the times I've heard that, the next line when you arrive is....... well I don't know where they have all gone! +1 I've had exactly that in the butchers went to the land and there were some but not many ........ and 2 other shooters who had been there for years. I said thanks for the opportunity and let the long time shooters have their peace and piece of land. Common decency told me to leave them to it. Good luck with yours and hope it turns out well
WelshMike
I was told by a friend that a farmer is overrun with rabbits....he actually was . 3 outings have accounted for 164 so far (lots of very young ones) . This makes a change thats for sure.
FalconFN
Took my single bunny into the butcher today, who is desperate for more (http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/338099-caught-in-the-act/) and another customer overheard us talking. Long story short, that's about 12 more acres of rabbit infested land to shoot! Nicely done. There are hundreds of rabbits around right now, but most are very small so keep those yourself and sell the big tough ugly ones to the butcher. I don't like these short nights - in a couple of months and I'll get out with the NV again but in the mean time I just try to enjoy the evening strolls with a gun rather than the shooting! spandit
Well, I've seen 4 rabbits so far & killed 2 of them. For a hot, sunny afternoon that's not bad.
