UPDATE

Isaac, mum and dad were transferred to more specialised care at Great Ormond Street Hospital (remember PigeonWatch sponsored GOSH a few years back - maybe the first North South shoot?) and the little fella has opened his eyes to see what all the fuss is about and try to see if Brexit is some sort of breakfast biscuit for infantiles

Many thanks for all the thoughts, best wishes and prayers :good:

My mums a special care baby unit nurse and has been for 42 years, they do wonderful work! I praise the NHS and think they should be paid footballers wages! My tiny son was born two days ago and were in hospital at the moment. Best of luck and he will get the best care on this planet by these amazing staff!

Best wishes.

My 2 month old and the mum had a very difficult birth with serious complications.

A few people within the NHS went well above and beyond and I owe both my partners life and that of my little one to them.

Others within the NHS I can't be so complimentary about, some of which caused the serious complications.

But the care my little lad received in special care was fantastic, by people that genuinely cared and I couldn't thank them enough.

Whatever they earn on the children special care unit isn't enough..... Whilst I'm at it. A couple a midwives on the labour ward were utterly spectacular with my partner.
