Delboysparky
Looking for some electronic ear defence for shooting on the orange and in the fields, hopefully not at an extortionate price. Looked at Peltor and Howard Leight impact sport ear defenders. What are peoples opinions and advice?
Glenlivet
Bought the Howard Leight's for my wife a few weeks ago, she's very happy with them. Still £36 on Amazon.
Delboysparky
Bought the Howard Leight's for my wife a few weeks ago, she's very happy with them. Still £36 on Amazon. Has she used them yet? Watched a youtube review and the guy said they were just ok but not brilliant. £36 vis reasonable for occasional shooting in my opinion. Good shot?
I use Howard Leights and because I am a little hard of hearing I can hear conversation etc better with them on than off and the 'bang' is very well suppressed. A good buy for me.

steve_b_wales
I use Howard Leights when target shooting with my .243. It suppresses the sound very good, and I recommend them.

welshwarrior
Much more expensive I see, but worth it if they save your ears. What's left of my hearing is valuable to me and the Sportstac protect that they amplify noise to improve my reduced hearing but also work with my hearing aides if it's a more talking than shooting day. MonkeyKong
Another +1 for the Howard Leights. Used them for clay shooting and rifle shooting (.22 and fullbore including .357 gallery rifle) and have no complaints.
