I know that CZ make a good rifle which you can give to your grandson, but for a general about the farm, doesnt matter if it gets knocked (when empty of course) which of the above rifles are the best bet.

On the same note is there anything 'wrong ' with synthetic stocks ( I know they're a bit ugly) at least it wouldnt bother me if I scratched it, and is stainless much less likely to rust.

Marlin =****e

Magtech =****e :good:

Why don't you say what you really think Sam :good:

CZ......Ask the question on any forum and see how many negative response's you get where a CZ is concerned ...

If you do manage to find any then the source will more than likely be Anshuzlt owners :/

CZ all the way, i have a .22rimmy that is old, it was given to me from my Dad, who bought it second hand, and i have recently purchased a CZ .17HMR and it is the dogs nuts :good::good:

I used to have a cz american hmr but traded it for a marlin 917.17hmr heavy stainless in a laminated stock seriously accurate gun get .3" groups on a calm day at 100yrds :/

If Fisher-Price made rifles they would be better than a Magtech!! I have a Ruger and a CZ. For me the CZ would be the rifle I would take everywhere with me (if I was allowed) I have put several thousand rounds through it and it is always solid and dependable.

i have two mates with magtech semis, one shoots all day long no problem, the other hardly uses it through countless faults including emptying a complete mag in one go, very worrying!

if i was you it would be a CZ new or second hand, which is what i intend to do once i get my variation back for a second .22
