hwr
I know that CZ make a good rifle which you can give to your grandson, but for a general about the farm, doesnt matter if it gets knocked (when empty of course) which of the above rifles are the best bet. On the same note is there anything 'wrong ' with synthetic stocks ( I know they're a bit ugly) at least it wouldnt bother me if I scratched it, and is stainless much less likely to rust. 08shooter
read up on rimfire central i would think the marlin should be ok, i think for the money magtech could nt be out of the question either.
hwr
Thanks for all the opinions much appreciated I know CZ is very popular for all the above reasons just trying to find out about a farm knock about is there any to avoid, and it would seem not keep the opinions coming!!! dunganick
browning buckmark (think jonno has one) might be worth a look or money no object the Walther GSP rifle conversion, one sweet rifle. (not to be mistaken for the utterly useless g22)
Sussexboy
If Fisher-Price made rifles they would be better than a Magtech!! I have a Ruger and a CZ. For me the CZ would be the rifle I would take everywhere with me (if I was allowed) I have put several thousand rounds through it and it is always solid and dependable. jcbruno
i own CZ and anchutz i dont think you would go wrong with CZ i have also owned ruger / savage/and marlin and i would say ruger or savage are good rugged guns stay away from marlin they shoot nice but that wire extractor is junk
steverimfire
i have two mates with magtech semis, one shoots all day long no problem, the other hardly uses it through countless faults including emptying a complete mag in one go, very worrying! if i was you it would be a CZ new or second hand, which is what i intend to do once i get my variation back for a second .
