Quick question - footpaths

Hi all on part of my permission to get to it i have to walk a good hour accross the farm to high seas etc.

 

I can get to it by a 5 min walk along a public footpath on A neiboughs property that i dont have permission to shoot on.

 

Is it legal for me to walk on a foot path not on my land to get to shooting grounds?

I can`t see any problem. Just make sure your gun is in the slip and unloaded.

Yes, but if in doubt ask basc. Just keep it in a slip as if on a pavement etc going to ur gun shop

 

 

It may be worth informing ur neighbour or who shoots there that ur not poaching just out on politieness so they don't get a surpirse if see someone with a gun in a slip walking on footpath but u don't have too

I'd knock on the neighbour's door and tell them what you'll be doing - you never know, you might get told you can shoot there too!
