Alycidon
You MUST get the caliber amended immediately by your licensing dept, the seller is also committing an offence signing it onto your ticket. Suggest you take the ticket into them, they should do it while you wait. If you are reloading then Bergers are usually the most accurate, Sierra I find make a superb bullet, look no further than Blitz Kings for all round use or VMax if no stock at your dealer. Factory ammo no idea, A
zipdog
Hornady 50 grain seem the best around to me
TONY R
Im with Alycidon here, you cant go wrong with sierras or bergers for that matter, you have to reload to get the best from any rifle even a lee loader and a decent set of powder scales is a start, those lee loaders are acctualy very good load accurate ammo. Lloyd90
I'm confused, what have plod put down as 22hornet? Is it the authorisation to acquire a moderator slot ? If so get it changed ASAP and hope you haven't bought one on the wrong licence ? Surely that defeats the point of the slots if they don't check em ? Good luck with your new rifle and getting it sorted!
welshwarrior
This where thing get silly IMHO if they had granted a cf moderator slot like some forces then this wouldn't have happened it also avoids later on you having a moderator proofed up 30 cal and the FEO not understanding that up to 30 cal is suitable for the small 22 cf 222. Either way get it back in and updated ASAP.

Lloyd90
I once changed a 22lr for a 17hmr and they left the 17hmr ammo off my ticket, I sent it back with a letter and had a new one within days. Hopefully they do the same for you.
Rimfireboy
Wouldn't any .22 centrefire mod be OK to acquire as .22 hornet is a .22 centrefire?
