srspower
I finally got out after the farmer at my one permission harvested his peas, I noticed that he disced the field the same day is that normal for peas? Either way the Pigeons came in pretty well, slow and steady.

Exudate
I really like the fact that you don't waste the rest of the bird by giving it to the ferrets. Is there any potential risk to the ferrets with ingesting lead shot? I'm not having a dig in any way, it's just something that crossed my mind. My dad has been feeding shot birds and rabbits to the ferrets for decades. Never had a problem 😊
aga man
Good effort srs, i think some farmers starting discing pea stubbles when they are waiting for crops to ripen etc, if they busy harvesting the pea stubble would of been left a while longer no doubt. You should of had a left and right at 2.

motty
I find it easier to take the breasts off pigeons with a sharp knife.
Richie10
Nice video. Ferrets are looking well looked after and there housing is clean, good to see. I prefer to twist the wings off and pop out the breasts, easier when you are doing a lot of birds. Well done.

There again cutting them off leaves a little meat for the ferrets Edited August 11, 2016 by srspower
