Winchester 42 gr sub

Have been using the 42 gr for a bit now, have had the odd cracker but this evening i had one really rattle off. I checked everything out as this one was exceptionally loud. I can only describe it as the noise of a HV round fired from a rifle without a mod on, it certainly woke me up . Any of you lads had an extra loud one.

I had a right banger with 42 winnie subs, I emailed Winchester but never got a reply. The rear of the case had a noticeable bulged look to it after firing.

I kept the case with the intention of posting it to Winchester, but after the lack of Email reply gave up trying. Not sure if I still have it now.

That's odd. I've never had a cracker from rws subs, always found them to be accurate and consistent.

Just started using the 42s without any issues so far, same accuracy and noise level as the old 40g winnies.

I've been using the 42g for about 6 months now and find them spot on with no real difference from the 40g.

Rabbit's seem to like the 42s from the 452, all sleeping soundly after meeting up and none of that hop, skip and a jump.

That extra 2gr certainly seems to make a difference in that department.
