spready
Looking for a lightweight moderator for my CZ527, I'm using a wildcat evo and its very good but at 450g it makes the little gun very front heavy.. something as effective as possible ..any suggestions? steve_b_wales
I use a Phantom moderator which is a reflex type. Very light and add's approx 4" to your barrel. Available from Sportsman Guncentre,
spready
How do you find it? Very effective? My evo moderator is great but isn't much lighter than my rifle lol
walshie
Atec CMM4 rimfire mod. Suitable for 22 hornet and modular so you can add/remove baffles.
casts_by_fly
I just use a SAK on my 17 hornet. It is rated for 22 hornet also. I suspect it is lighter than a pound. thanks rick
clumber
Fitted a ATec 119 hertz to my old, 1990, 527 22Hornet. A little larger than I expected but the weight is around 356g, so the official blurb says. Dave at Valkyrie Rifles did the threading and fitting of the mod, all tiptop
Harvey Donaldson
The only moderator I would even consider putting on a 22 Hornet, of sporting rifle configuration, is one that has yet to be made by Steve Pope of V-Mach Engineering to my design. He's just finished a second in super-grade aluminium for my Cooper 22 rimfire. It incorporates fluting that compliments the barrel. I absolutely detest moderators from an aesthetic point of view but acknowledge their importance under certain conditions. HD
