four-wheel-drive
I think it means that you need to change the battery in the key fob.
TONY R
Thanks for that mate, I think i have bigger problems now though, message dissapeared altogether, but coming home just now from shooting this AM , i got a ping up pops a message INFO Anti Pollusion Fault. Gets home seems to be running fine, but just went out to move it get a van out the building and engine lights on now, Looked in handbook they are calling it Anti polution light or something similar. . Oil ok water ok, its now spluttering a little hesitating at about 3000 rpm. I tell you This emissions stuff is killing these diesels this Peugeot its just one warning after another with it, I had 305s 309s zxs 405s citroens 300k on a BX 1.9 i had never missed a beat, now these things all this electric and emissions strangulation its just going from one fault code to another. Sorry RANT over i feel so much better now.
Jaymo
Have the same 'warning' on a Pug my folks have- always seem to occur when they have let the battery go flat ( it's a car at their holiday place) I take it out and give it a good 'thrash' and every time the warning has disappeared? bluesj
For your engine fault light (and related running problems) I start by looking at the egr valve
TONY R
For your engine fault light (and related running problems) I start by looking at the egr valve I will have a look at that, i drove it today its spluttering on acceleration and to like juders on overun at about the same engine speed. Dont think its a mechanical fault its quiewt enough and an instant starter, could it be mas air flow meeter?

Cannon
Sounds DPF related. Not sure if it's a wet or dry DPF system on your car, but a lot of modern wet DPF diesels are now using adblue. This needs topped up every so often. EGR valves can also create problems as mentioned above.
